Elaine Li

Kia Ora!

Elaine is an international student from Waikato, New Zealand, and a Junior at USC double majoring in International Relations (Global Business, International Finance) and Data Science. She is ecstatic to serve as the Secretary General of this year's 10th edition of TrojanMUN. In past iterations, she has served as the USG of Crisis and an UNSC ACD. She was also the Director of Logistics for USC’s highschool conference, SCMUN. As a member of the travel team, she is also a frequent competitor on the circuit, and Director of DEI. She has also previously served as the Director of Team Training and New Member Training. At USC, Elaine is also the VP of External for Gamma Iota Sigma (Risk Management society), the Director of Membership at Kappa Theta Pi (Tech society), a part of USC Flavours (multicultural food immersion), and a member of Avenues Consulting Group. In her limited free time, she loves exploring Los Angeles with her friends, singing, eating good food, explaining why celsius (both the drink AND the metric) is superior, leaving the “u” in words such as flavours, and (window) shopping.

Mateo Villalba-Mutis

Mateo is a junior at USC majoring in Political Science with minors in Management Consulting and Cybersecurity. He joined MUNSC as a freshman in Spring 2023 and has previously served as the USG of Specialized Committees for SCMUN. Outside of MUN, he’s also involved in Los Angeles Community Impact, a nonprofit pro-bono consulting club. Whenever he’s not daydreaming about moving to New York City, he can be found praying on Max Verstappen’s downfall or hunting for Boiler Room tickets. He enjoys hiking, baking, really good public transit, and watching airplanes take off.

Jacob Rose

Jacob is a senior at USC majoring in International Relations with minors in Spanish and Legal Studies. Jacob is also the President of MUNSC. He has previously served as the coordinating crisis director of the JCC at TrojanMUN 2023, crisis director of the JCC at TrojanMUN 2022, and an ACD. In his free time, Jacob enjoys grinding Overwatch-ranked games, playing poker with friends, and watching LA’s many sports teams lose. A fun fact about Jacob is that he once won a Bingo match on a Carnival Cruise, fulfilling his lifelong dream of upsetting old people at a game they thought they owned. He is super excited about another amazing TrojanMUN!

James Kuo

James is a pre-med sophomore at USC majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with interests in additionally pursuing health policy on a global scale with organizations like the WHO. He has five years of experience on the MUN circuit, competing around Asia and organizing Taiwan’s largest MUN conference. When James isn’t suffering through MUN conferences and orchestrating travel logistics, he enjoys watching old movies (which he could critique for hours), seeing the Packers dominate the NFL, and writing self-embellishing mini biographies that will remain unread. A fun fact about him is that he once sat in the White House Red Room after winning a bet with a security guard that he couldn’t name all the presidents in the portraits above.

Luisa Luo

Luisa is a sophomore from Beijing with a double major in Comparative Literature & Sociology and minors in ‘Thematic Approaches to Humanities and Society’ & ‘Cultural Diplomacy’. She previously served as a staffer for AdHoc at Trojan MUN 2023 and she enjoys traveling from coast to coast with the team to make core memories. At USC, she is also serving as an officer for the Undergraduate Student Government, a staff writer for the independent newspaper, and active in the volunteering and AAPI community. She is beyond excited to run the three-way JCC and AdHoc this year!

Jake Haviland

My name is Jake Haviland, I’m currently a senior studying International Relations and Global Economics w/ a minor in business finance. I am the USG of specialized committees. I’ve been a member of the travel team delegation for three years, and previously served as an Assistant Director on eboard. Outside of MUN I like to explore, hike, travel, and do photography. Currently I’ve been to 8 countries and I’m hoping to travel to more!

Kira O’Gorman

Kira is a junior at USC, studying International Relations with a minor in Applied Analytics. Previously, Kira has served as Co-Director of Finance and Logistics for TrojanMUN 2023, an ACD for TrojanMUN 2022, and Director-General of SCMUN 2024. Beyond MUN, Kira is involved in Teach for America and works at the USC Bookstore. A fun fact about Kira is that she once walked over an hour from Koreatown to USC at 11 pm (would not recommend). In her free time, she enjoys bouldering (indoors), judging Vietnamese coffee, and playing tennis. Kira is incredibly excited to ensure TrojanMUN 2024 is an amazing weekend!

Eshal Sandhu

Eshal is a junior at USC studying computer science and business administration. She joined MUN in college. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, eating good food, and visiting national parks. A fun fact about Eshal is that she was illustrated in a children’s book when she was in fifth grade (check out Laila’s Lunchbox). She can’t wait for an amazing TrojanMUN!

Amy Zhou

Amy is a junior at USC double majoring in Accounting and Political Economy with a minor in Law and Technology. She joined MUNSC as a freshman in Spring 2023. Outside of MUN, she is involved in the International Consulting Club and Beta Alpha Psi on campus. When she’s not studying in random places on campus and in cafes, Amy enjoys learning dances, staying up late watching professional Valorant, and taking 180p sunset photos on the beach with her iPhone XR.

Saloni Mahajan

Saloni is a junior at USC, double majoring in Public Policy and Economics. She is also the Vice President of MUNSC. She has previously served as the head chair of Cabinet of Japan in TrojanMUN 2023 and an ACD in TrojanMUN 2022. In her free time, Saloni enjoys reading, dancing, and drinking boba. A fun fact about Saloni is that she lived in three states in the first year of her life. She is so excited for TrojanMUN 2024!

Director of Marketing and Design Celine Bacily

Celine is a sophomore at USC majoring in International Relations with a minor in Cybersecurity. She joined MUNSC in Fall 2023. Outside of MUN, she serves as the Vice President for the Foreign Service Society and as a brief writer for the Southern California Moot Court team. She has previously served as an Assistant Crisis Director in TrojanMUN 2023 and as the Assistant Director of Team Training this past semester. In her free time, Celine enjoys dancing and exploring new cafes. She is very excited about another successful TrojanMUN!
