Hello Delegates!
The TrojanMUN Secretariat and staff are incredibly excited to present these amazing committees and welcome you all to Los Angeles for TrojanMUN 2023. However, before the weekend can commence, we wish to establish our expectations for those competing at this conference.
At TrojanMUN, we wish to foster unique, creative, and, most importantly, respectful debate. We will not tolerate any behavior which goes against our values as an organization.
In regard to all committees, we expect delegates to act with decorum and understanding. Many of the issues being discussed are sensitive, and we hope that TrojanMUN delegates will treat them as such. Our staff will not allow any resolutions, directives, or committee conduct promoting colonialism, xenophobia, homophobia, ableism, racism, sexism, or anything similar.
In regard to crisis and specialized committees, we will not permit any arcs which seek to promote any of the aforementioned issues or anything else of a similarly insidious nature.
The TrojanMUN Secretariat and staff want all delegates to feel safe and comfortable competing at our conference, and we encourage any delegates, advisors, or other participants who notice misconduct to immediately report it to a TrojanMUN staffer or member of Secretariat.
