The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) is the First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, handling global conflicts and threats to international peace. Specifically, the mandate of DISEC is to maintain widespread peace, promote cooperation between nations, and strengthen the overall security and stability of member states. As delegates in DISEC, you will be challenged to seek solutions to the challenges in the international security regime.
